摘要：We present the problem of how to add two contraction semigroup generators on Hilbert space, assmuming no other additional condtiions. The problem originates from describing the system resulting from a fast switching between two scattering passive well-posed linear time-invariant systems. We introduce the related existing results, where we get stuck, what we have got so far, and possible directions.
