摘要:In this presentation, I shall present a basic theory on the existence and uniqueness of solutions and local solutions for initial value problems (IVPs) of first order ordinary differential equations with LpCarath´eodory nonlinearities that are not necessarily continuous based on the following paper: Kunquan Lan, A basic theory for initial value problems of first order ordinary differential equations with Lp-Caratheodory functions and applications, Journal of Differential Equations, 386 (2024), 368-403.
简介:Kunquan Lan obtained his Ph. D degree from University of Glasgow, United Kingdom in 1998. He has been working at Toronto Metropolitan University, Canada since 2001. His main research interests include ordinary differential equations, fractional differential equations and partial differential equations and inequalities with applications to mathematical biology and fluid dynamics. He has published more than 80 papers in important international academic journals such as PLOS ONE, Siam Journal on Applied Mathematics, Journal of Theoretical Biology, Journal of Differential Equations, Transactions/Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society, Journal/Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Proceedings A of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Fractional Calculus and Applied Analysis, Studies In Applied Mathematics, Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems, Series A/B, etc.
