报告摘要:A new impetus was given by the discovery of strange uniqueness phenomena in non-integer base expansions by Erdos et al. in 1990. Let U_q^j denote the set of numbers having exactly j different q-expansions. Contrary to the unique q-expansions, we prove for each j>1 that the set U_q^j is closed only if it is empty. Next we generalize an important example of Sidorov by exhibiting many bases q such that the Hausdorff dimension of U_q^j is independent of j.
报告人简介: 邹玉茹,深圳大学数学与统计学院教授,毕业于华东师范大学,获理学博士学位。主要研究方向为分形几何及图像处理与分析等,在《Nonlinearity》、《J Number Theorey》、《IEEE Trans. Image Process.》、《Inverse Problems》等重要期刊发表论文20多篇。主持国家自然科学基金项目3 项。
