"Chongqing Key Laboratory of Analytical Mathematics and application" is based on the College of Mathematics and Statistics of Chongqing University. At present, the laboratory has twodoctoral degree programsof the level-1 discipline onmathematics andstatistics; postdoctoral program on mathematics; Chongqing level-1 key disciplines of mathematics and statistics, Chongqing Institute of Mathematical Science, Chongqing University Mathematics Research Center and other research platforms.

The laboratory mainly carries out the research on the basic theory and application of analytical mathematics. The contentsofresearch include: functional analysis, noncommutative geometry, dynamical systems and applications; partial differential equation and its application in image processing; optimization theory and method, scientificcomputing; high dimensional data statistics and financial, actuarial big data analysis.

The laboratory has a high-level research team with 60 fixed researchers and 5 off campus experts, including 27 professors, 30 associate professors and 3 lecturers. It includes 2 scholars of the national thousand talents program, 2 new century talents of the Ministry of Education, 2 national outstanding contribution experts, 2 scholars of Chongqing hundred talents program, 2 key talents engineering talents of Chongqing 322, 5 academic and technical leaders of Chongqing, and 3 scholars of Chongqing University hundred talents program.
