Lipschitz continuity on fans for solution multifunctions of affine variational inequalities with applications

摘要:The concept of fans originated in the field of algebraic geometry, particularly within the theory of toric varieties. In this talk, we demonstrate that fan structures are indispensable for analyzing the Lipschitzian behavior of solutions to a cocoercive affine variational inequality—specifically when perturbations affect both the constant term in the variational inequality itself and the right-hand side of the linear constraint system that defines its feasible set. As applications of this result, we establish the Lipschitz continuity of solution multifunctions for two classes of problems: convex quadratic programming problems and certain sparse optimization problems.
