摘要:Bent functions are actively studied for numerous applications in information theory, cryptography, coding theory, and other fields. The study of strongly external difference families is motivated by the so-called algebraic manipulation detection (AMD) codes, which can be regarded as a variation of classical authentication codes. In this talk, I will present some recent results on generalized bent functions and SEDF which illustrate how the theory of vanishing sums and number theory be applied to give new insights in these research areas.
