A three-step Oseen correction method for the steady Navier–Stokes equations

 :In this talk, a two-grid numerical scheme based on mixed finite element approximations for the steady incompressible Navier–Stokes equations will be discussed. This numerical scheme aims at the simulation of high Reynolds number flows and consists of three steps: in the first step, a finite element variational multiscale-stabilized nonlinear Navier–Stokes system is solved on a coarse mesh, and then, in the second and third steps, two Oseen-linearized and -stabilized problems which have the same stiffness matrices with only different right-hand sides are solved on a fine mesh. Error bounds for the approximate solutions as well as numerical results will be provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method

 

报告人简介:尚月强,男,博士,教授,博士生导师,贵州德江县人, 主要从事偏微分方程数值解、计算流体力学、并行计算方面的研究,研究兴趣包括流体力学中的(并行)数值方法,并行数值代数,有限元方法,两重网格方法,区域分解算法等。在不可压缩流体流动的高性能算法,特别是在大雷诺数不可压缩Navier-Stokes方程并行有限元计算方法和线性代数方程组并行求解方面有一定的研究积累。主持完成了国家自然科学基金项目2项、教育部留学回国人员基金项目1项、省科技基金项目3项。在Journal of Computational Physics, Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering, Journal of Scientific Computing等期刊发表SCI收录论文30余篇。
