摘  要: In this talk, I shall report some recent progress on the existence and multiplicity of traveling  waves to one of the most important models in Turing Pattern Formation.In addition, I shall pose some open questions which are wide open demanding new ideas and fresh approaches.

报告人简介:  Yuanwei Qi 教授,B.Sc Peking University 1982, M. SC Chinese Academy of Sciences 1985,  Ph.D University of Oxford, 1990.  Research Fellow, Mathematical Institute 1989-90. 先后在Hong Kong University of Science and Technology、University of California at Santa Barbara、University of Minnesota、Iowa State University, University of Oxford和University of Central Florida工作，山西省百人计划学者，在国内外著名的数学期刊发表论文近百篇.
