The Cauchy Problem of the Boltzmann Equation for Fermi-Dirac Particles

 :In this paper, the cauchy problem of the Boltzmann equation for Fermi-Dirac particles will be considered.

We will first present a new perturbation scheme near Maxwellian and analyze the spectrum of the linearized equation. Then, by the inverse Laplace transform, we obtain the decay rate of the solution to the Cauchy problem of the linearized equation. Finally, together with the estimates for the nonlinear terms, we establish time decay rate for the solution of the Boltzmann equation for Fermi-Dirac particles. Using techniques developed above, we can also treat the cauchy problem for both Fermi-Dirac and Bose-Einstein particles near vacuum.

 

 

报告人简介:王路生,西北大学讲师。吉林大学数学学院理学学士、理学硕士、香港城市大学数学系哲学博士毕业。研究方向为非线性扩散方程,Boltzmann方程及相关动理学模型的基本理论。
